For emergencies that occur after hours, we highly recommend going to one of the following two 24 hour emergency centers:

• Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls (732) 922-0011. Just off GSP Exit 100A.

• Veterinary Surgical and Diagnostic Specialists (609) 259-8300. In Jackson, near Six Flags Great Adventure.

If you need to go to a closer facility, another option is:

• Jersey Shore Veterinary Emergency Services - (732) 363-3200. This center is only open during "off" hours. It does not stay open 24/7. They are located at Leisure Square Mall, 1000 State Hwy 70, Lakewood. It is just 3.9 miles east of our hospital on Route 70.
